02-06-2019 - Destination: Snow Summit

LOTS AND LOTS OF SOUTHERN CALIFORNIA RAIN, MEANS LOTS AND LOTS OF FRESH POWDER

When the rain falls in Southern California, we hunker down and wait for it to pass.  We love the SUN, the warmth of every day.  But it is ok this time, we had a plan! We knew the rain would hammer us, only to leave the mountains snow capped and begging for outdoor enthusiasts to bask in the fresh powder.  Today was the day!  Snow Summit was our destination, one of our favorites.  What a beautiful day it was, sun shining, brisk air, and no crowds.  Great Father and Son outing. Check out a few pictures from the day.  Coolest part, is Mikey is crossing over from snow boarding and that makes for some fun teaching moments and laughable falls.  Catch ya on the slopes!
